Workflow Scheduling Tasks
Action Items for Scheduling Tasks are used only with specific integrations. The triggers that create the item come from the integrated application, not the scheduler. You can ignore this discussion if the Scheduling Requests panel does not appear on the Action Items screen.
Schedule Requests that Need Appointments: This alert identifies patients who require appointments over the next two- (adults) or four-week (pediatric) period per the schedule request.
- Patients must have an active schedule request.
- They cannot have any future appointments over the next 2–4 weeks for the Discipline/Program or service for which the request is made.
Schedule Requests Modified this Week: This alert identifies patients within the given week for which the therapist has (a) made a Schedule Request or (b) has modified a Schedule Request that affects the frequency or duration of visits.
Scheduled Requests Under or Over: This alert identifies patients who have either (a) too many appointments or (b) too few appointments based on the Schedule Request made. It is intended as an aid in ensuring that patients are receiving the therapy intended by the Plan of Care.
- The alert includes patients who have an active Appointment Request, and then it examines the next two (adults) to four calendar weeks (pediatric) to determine whether the patient is meeting the Plan of Care: i.e., whether their visits exceed or fall short of the Schedule Request (SR). Keep in mind that these are calendar weeks.
- Tasks are displayed for each week in the range in which the above occurs.
