Display Fields
Display field preferences are used to configure the information that WellSky Resource Manager uses as display text in
- The appointments on the grid
- The patient column headers
- The resource column headers
For each type of display field, (a) a system administrator must configure a set of fields that are available and then (b) each user must configure which of those fields from that will be used in their individual profile. (See Grid Display Fields)
NOTE – If necessary, an administrator
can set up a user account with a "profile" of the appropriate
fields and then copy that profile to the relevant users. (See the Users
and the Copy User Settings topics for additional information.)
To configure your display fields:
- Do either of the following:
- Click the Presets and Preferences icon on the scheduling grid, or
- Clicking the Preferences link in the top right corner of the main screen
- Select Display Fields from the side menu.
- Complete the parameters for each type of display field according instructions provided in the following topics.
Key Considerations
- Users must have the right "User Preferences" set to Full in order to make changes to Preferences.
- Whenever an administrator adds a display field, that field will automatically appear in each user's Available list. To actually use the field, the new field must be selected as described above.
- Then as the information the program uses for display text changes, the column headers and appointments are updated automatically in real time.
